  1. As my son is older and on his own, I have just now found Christ. I am praying that he will see Jesus in me even though I don’t get a chance to teach him daily. I have bought him a Bible (engraved with name) that I am using until I the Lord tells me its time to give it to him. What a greater gift than a Bible your mom specifically underlined, highlighted and noted with you in mind with every stroke of her pen.

    1. Patience and prayers for your children are most important to me as a mom of two grown daughters who love and live for jesus!

  2. Right now God is teaching me to remember all the grace that he extended to me by sacrificing himself for me. If I can keep that in front of me, I will be more able to give that same grace away to my family as I care for them and our home.

  3. Forgiveness. Christ paid the ultimate price for our forgiveness and to show His love, so what better way to explain unconditional love to our children than to teach forgiveness. This includes self-forgiveness through example.

  4. I think that a Mom needs to be seeking after the Lord daily… if Jesus is first in her life, it can’t help but “spill out” to others. :)

  5. Willingness to listen! I feel children will open up and spend more time with their mom if they feel they will be heard.

  6. I was raised in a family that fed and clothed me and no more than that. I entered the adult world insecure, afraid and angry. Until I found Jesus! A mom should love her child unconditionally with a love that flows not just from her but from the Lord, who’s love is bigger, wider and deeper than anything we could ever ask or think. We guide our children to the Lord when we allow Him to love them through us.

  7. Have loved watching my children step into what God has for them, every tiny step of the way. What a privilege to be their mother. No sacrifice is too much to see them to that end.

  8. Oh, would so love to present this to my ‘Prayer Warrior’ Mom. She raised 3 children on prayer. She had me as a daughter that fought her all the way, till I hit my early 20’s. But is was her fervent prayers I know that has me where I am with my walk with my Lord and Saviour today.

  9. I believe the most important quality a Mom can have is “Grace” . Grace towards her children and that includes including herself. When we practice Grace, it allows us love more deeply, awards us more patience.

  10. Being a mom means putting your own desires aside, and putting your children before yourself. Above all else though, walking in the way of the Lord so your kids will see those paths and follow in your footsteps. Talking about Him when sitting down and when walking, all the days of our lives.
