She Speaks Pics {& a Big Announcement for Moms}

Whew! What a fun and faith-filled weekend at our Proverbs 31 Ministries She Speaks conference. I had a wild return trip that  I’ll blog about sometime. For now, enjoy these pics and a super fun announcement for moms about a project I am doing with a dear friend. {I’m off to catch a nap and then drive to the airport where I hope my bag will finally arrive a day after I did!}

Setting up the hotel. I was on decorations committee with the lovely Paige from our staff. I can't believe I put one of the daisy ball things together from Ikea. I just prayed all weekend that the one I did din't fall onto an attendee.

And there were SO MANY of my Proverbs 31 sisters I didn’t get a picture with because we were too busy attending to details and giving workshops. My roomie and coauthor Glynnis Whitwer and I didn’t snap a single shot! :-(

But now it is time for the announcement………..

Ruth Schwenk (from The Better Mom} and I signed a contract with Zondervan at the conference for a book and DVD Bible study series for moms. More details and release date to come. I just LOVE this woman and we are super excited to write an encouraging project for other mothers in the trenches of raising both young and adult children. Stay tuned!
