  1. I told another designer that their work was amazing! She said she was thankful for the words of encouragement because she’s been feeling down about her work lately.

  2. I am sending a Christmas card with lots of love for my Godmother who lives far away and I haven’t seen in many years.

  3. Snail mail is something I know I absolutely treasure…when I receive it, which is not often! LOL! I’m not on Facebook or Twitter, just Instagram and that is enough for me so when I get good old fashioned mail, I LOVE IT! I sent a hand written note on Christmas paper to a girlfriend from college. A friend that I don’t see or even really talk to much but we always send each other Christmas cards. I went out on a limb to tell her what I love about her and that hopefully in the next year we could plan a time to meet half way between her home and mine to catch up!

  4. We have a sponsored child in Ecuador and they REALLY enjoy letters! I do too! Gives me the incentive to start writing more often.

  5. This is so important and we don’t do enough!! I am writing to a dear friend from high school who has had some challenges this year so a great time to let her know I am thinking of her.

  6. Needed this reminder today. Its easy to overlook my senior family and friends who are not on social media. Plus, we doesn’t love to receive a letter in the mail!

  7. This one is actually hard because who to send a letter to? A challenge because there are so many we would like to write to so this is likely going to take us a couple of days to write several letters of appreciation but the smiles will be worth it!

  8. I also like to send cards to others to bring cheer and encouragement into their lives. I still send Christmas cards.

  9. I love writing notes and used to do so often. Now with 4 kids it is harder to do it. Thanks for the encouragement to do so. I have 2 people in mind!

  10. I like to send the grandkids letters through the mail. They get so excited to get something with their name on it.

  11. I enjoy the art of fountain pen letters so I will send a note to my nieces who are heading into finals

  12. This is such an easy idea that anyone can do. It is always so appreciated when I send a hand made card to a friend to encourage them.

  13. I send cards year round. my mother left her card collection and I sent them to family and friends with a sticker saying it is from her card collection

  16. I have an elderly friend that has cancer. She doesn’t feel like talking on the phone much. I sent her a card a couple of months ago. I think it’s time for another. And, she won’t feel like she has to talk to me if she doesn’t feel like it. It will brighten her day. Thank you!
