I’m in also. I am working on getting 10 lbs. off. I gained them back after loosing 30 lbs. through Weight Watcher’s program. I had a accident back in Aug. 2009 and I had to stop working out and well there you have it! That’s a given huh? I just started working out in March 2010 and I have not lost anything yet, but I know that I know that I know that the Holy Spirit is by my side and he is guiding me through this work out plan. I am doing pilates-Mon, Wed & Fri, Tae Bo-Tue & Thurs and 30 min. on treadmill twice a week – HELP!
Karen, my scripture for today is found on 2 Corinthians 4:8-10.
Hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
Persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed. -
Always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.

That is the life a christian, Haleluyia to the Lamb of God!

Hello again!!

The scripture: Peter 3:3-4 is just awesome…… Again, thank you for this entire writing…… I needed that too!!!!

I now see that having three-cord women friendships is so beautiful and perfect!!! I like the “strand” definition too…. I truly don’t feel alone with my battles today…..

Hi – I just had to leave a message. I grew up in a family where success was measured by how many college degrees you had. Between my husband and I , we have five. My first child was quick, ahead of the curve. We were so proud! Then my daughter was born. She has special needs and has redefined the word success completely for me. She lights up any room she walks into. One of her aids (in a public school) commented the other day on what a great evangelist she is. One of her first questions to new friends is “do you know God?” I love it when we are walking through a grocery store and she is singing praise songs at the top of her lungs – I wish I could be more like her!

I am in! Having four kids with varying skills and abilities, we are always looking for ways to be sure that all our kids get a pat on the back from time to time… not just a current superstar or squeaky wheel! : ) Love this idea!
