My dad passed away 22 years ago and my mom not quite a year ago. I've learned that if you do not take the time now, you may not have it. It's definately a hard lesson to learn. Take the time to say the things you need to say ........ what a great inspiration this blog is! I would LOVE to have the time to say those things to both of my parents now! Take the time….definately! They were put off by it a bit at first, they are not the huggy lovey type, but we broke them into it. You can never express your love enough to others.....! My husbands grandfather was diagnosed with cancer, after suddenly taking an unexpected turn for the worse it was only a matter of a few very short weeks before he passed away.
