Holiday Happenings You’re Gonna Want to Know About!

It is almost here!!!!

The Fourth Annual 12 Days of Christmas Giveaway Extravaganza!

Join me starting next Monday, November 29th for twelve straight days of fun. I’ll feature a different one of my Proverbs 31 sisters each day with a Christmas idea, recipe, gift, craft, memory or organizing tip.

And along with their ideas will be an awesome giveaway of the day. You may enter on all twelve posts.

I even went all out and had a clever button made (see it there to the left?) just for the occasion! (Thanks to my fantabulously techy friend Vicki Hughes of Bytes of Blessings)

Feel free to grab it from my sidebar  and place it on you blog, if you have one.  Or yak it up on Facebook and Twitter. I would so love that!

Okay, next….

My dear friend Courtney Joseph of  Women Living Well, the video blogging queen and the woman Rachael Ray featured as a time-warp wife from the 1950′s (which I have never gotten. She might have values from the 50′s but she is one contemporary chick!) has recorded a short video telling how she set up the Christmas planner we showcase in our newly-released Ebook Untangling Christmas: Your Go-To Guide for a Hassle-Free Holiday.

She did such a great job! You’ll be inspired to go out & grab yourself the components to set up one this weekend. And, if you want to purchase the book, you can buy it for Kindle or Nook or as a PDF. The PDF can be read on any computer or smart phone or you can save it to a jump drive and print it off at a printers.(And, if you want a hard copy of it, stay tuned. We will have them at Proverbs 31 in a few days)

Okay— here is Courtney and the Untangling Christmas planner:

Finally, here is a great last-minute holiday appetizer you can whip up for Thanksgiving.

Doesn’t it look so fanc-i-fied????

It is from my cyber friend turned-real-life friend (we got to meet in person last month) Tammy Maltby .

I am going to be having her back real soon for a guest Christmas post.  She is a wealth of entertaining, organizing & decorating ideas.

You can check out the delicious and show-stopping recipe by clicking here.

Finally, don’t forget you can still enter to win a planner from Much Ado About You in the post below. Winner announced tomorrow. :-)

Share and Enjoy!

      I really really need a planner. :(

Very practicle looking planner. I also started making a Christmas planner but I expanded it to a Holiday planner with a section for Thanksging, Valentines Day and Easter. That way I can have my Holiday ideas, traditions and recipies all in one place.

    • Laurie says:

I am going to make myself one of these! I have the Ebook, just haven’t read the whole thing… love this video – very inspired to get organized.

I’ve been using a similar planner for years and it’s a huge help! It’s no longer quite as organized as it was when I first started, but it’s still very useful. In addition to the sections mentioned in the video, I also have “souviners” from past Christmas’, like our invitation to a Family Sakting Party we hosted; the Playbill & tickets from the time we went to see The Nutcracker (and the card I made to tell the kids of their surprise), etc. I love looking through the book – it’s a stroll down memory lane! As well as all my holiday information in one place!

    • Marianne Hammonds says:

I have been working on setting up a control jounal for cleaning projects and for menu planner. It would be great to have one for the holidays. Thanks. I need all the help I can get.

    • Ann : ) says:

Looking forward to all 12 days.
I hope to get started on a Christmas planner would make live easier – calmer instead of so hectic.

    • Vicki says:

You are very kind, Karen. I can not take credit for your wonderful graphic however. All I did is put some wording on a paid for graphic that was made to be on your site. :)
I am eagerly awaiting your 12 days of Christmas!!

    • Margaret Kramer says:

My family has a much nicer wife/mom when I have things well planned out.

    • Joan says:

I saw the planner on Lisa’s blog- ordered one for a friend and love it- gotta get my own- I’d love to win it!

    • Rebecca says:

What a fun video. I have not done a Holiday Binder yet but it would be a great idea. Just having everything in one place is helpful! Now that I am working more, I feel the need to be better organized so I don’t forget something!

      Have a Happy Thanksgiving, Karen!
