		<description>May I share with all of you who are struggling with weight that the hard fact I hadn&#039;t been willing to face is that overeating is the sin of idolatry.  I&#039;ve chalked it up to genes, big bones, slow metabolis but it is pure sin.  I have put food...the preparation/planning/preparing...of it in my thoughts much more than I&#039;ve meditated on my heavenly Father.  It is not the food that needs to &#039;behave&#039;.....it is my spiritual lack of self-control. 		<description>In response to Ileen - I have been battling my weight all my life and I think I have tried every kind of weight loss program known to man!  The one thing I have discovered in all my experiences is that exercise has helped me more than anything else in keeping my weight down. Some kind of daily exercise is essential even if it is just walking.  As far as eating goes, it is really just a matter of making better choices on a daily basis. I have found that cutting down on portion sizes at meal times and eating more slowly is a great way to start. Of course, always try to choose foods with less fat and sugar and replace them with healthier choices. I have found that in between meals when I feel like I have to eat something, a small amount of protein helps curb my appetite, like a little turkey or a few almonds or some yogurt.  Of course, these are just a few things that work for me. You have to find out what works best for you. Be sure to pray!</description>

I just return from Hearts at Home.  Wow, what a great time!   I came away with so much, but the one thing I want to try and remember is 15.  When you stop and think about the 15seconds or 15min or 15days, 15 months and 15years.  It is so easy to change some of the negative outcome of reactions that aren&#039;t really necessary.   It was inspiring to listen to you in your Ducks in a Row class.  I&#039;m at the point where I&#039;m so ready to declutter the junk.
