  1. The person who has made the most impact on me and my life is my wonderful husband. He is such a good man who does so much for me and our little family and others. He gives so much whether it being encouraging words, hugs, kisses and his strong devotion to ensure we get the things we need to survive by working long, odd hours every week and yet, he never asks for much of anything in return. He values the love we share as a couple and as a family. He always focuses on my happiness as well as my health as we got bad news earlier in the week. He then like always, was my rock. I held in my tears all day from our young girls, but the moment he entered our home, we hugged and the stream of tears poured out of both of our eyes. In that moment, our almost 3 year old daughter looks up at me and said,”Mama, don’t cry!”As the bad news we got, neither of us were expecting, but I know I have my husband to lean on for support to matter what! He always helps me look at the bright side of everything! I am very thankful that God blessed with a soulmate that was beyound my few expections and loves me for me! I don’t know what I would do if I didn’t have such a loving husband in my life who loves me unconditionally and accepts me for who I am. He is my hero in more ways than one. I am so very blessedand am so thankfulthat I was the lucky woman that got blessed with him; he has truly changed my life for the better! He is definitely a man I treasure each and everyday and hold dear to my heart! True love forever and always!

  2. My grandmother is the most awesome person in my life. Without her life is unbearable. She always gave me great advice and counsel. I will miss her this year. She went home the end of August.

  3. I am very thankful for my friend Tami. We were best friends in grade school and junior high. Then we lost touch for many years. Now we are in our mid 50’s and have reconnected again over the past few years as dear friends and we meet at church to sit together every week!

  4. I thank God for Jesus Christ every time I think of Him. Without Him our salvation is not possible. Every time I think of Him, I am reminded of the selfless sacrifice He made for us. I am forever grateful to God for Jesus and the salvation offered to all who receive Him. God bless you, Karen.? the work God is doing in you, keep it up!

  5. My friend Deb, She is a godly woman who knows just how to gently correct my incorrect thinking and is also tons of fun to be with.

  6. I am thankful for my Grandma Slone. She is the most amazing and diligent prayer warrior I have ever known. You neer leave her house without a snack and some Godly advice. If you ask let to pray for something, and usually when you don’t, she will consistently and continuely pray till she sees a break in your situation. I believe her prayers have changed countless situations in the lives of our family.

  7. I am thankful for my daughter’s birth mom. 5 years ago she decided to place her baby for adoption. Every time I look at my sweet daughter, I praise God for her. It doesn’t matter how many times I say thanks to the birth mom, she will never fully understand how thankful I am.

  8. My mother in law, Laura! She passed three years ago to a rare cancer. I married young and she brought me in and poured her life into mine! She taught me the importance of prayer and to love Gods word! I miss her sometimes still so very much! I see her in my husbands laughter, 23 years of gifts around my home and inher Bible which was given to me by my father in law! She is still a very big part of our lives and memories! I have a son who is married now and my oldest son is engaged and our “baby” graduates next year! I see her in all of my sons! So very thankful for her life, love and legacy!

  9. I am thankful for my Aunt Patti. She was such a virtuous woman – full of strength and dignity. She lived her life making sure all those around her knew they were special and deeply loved.

  10. It would be my husband. I am so thankful to him and his unselfishness, his hard work, determination, and how he always works towards becoming the better man that God created him to be. He is more than I ever imagined he would be as my husband and I am so thankful to God that I got blessed with such an amazing husband and best friend

  11. I am thankful for my grandmother. While she was still here on earth she taught me to be grateful for the things I had. She taught me that it wasn’t important to have the best of everything or even to have a lot of stuff, because you can make due with whatever you have. What was important was faith and having family around. She always showed us love in everything she did. She was a very selfless person, especially with her family. She spent so much of her life sorting her love and making sure her children and grandchildren were taken care of, it was hard for her to let us take care of her at the end of her life. Listening to my 5 year old talk about how great – grandma touched her life as well, warms my heart.

  12. Someone I thank God for every time I think of her is my sister in law Katie. You see, Katie and I lived across the country from one another until last june. Although we have been family for four years, I really didn’t get to “know her, know her” until she moved from Idaho here (to Ohio) with her family in June. Katie has two young children like myself, and we clicked in the friendship department right away. There was a peacefulness to her thT I was drawn to. This amazing woman moved across the country and away from everything she knows to build relationships here in ohio. Our friendship turned more perosnal in October of 2013, when she shared her testimony of faith with me. After much discussion about my faith, and my journey with God, I came to accept Jesus into my heart. Without Katie I would still be living a life of control and selfishness. She mentored me in my faith, and still helps me on a daily basis. Family struggle (not between us) caused her family to move back to Idaho prematurely, and I miss her every day, but I am so blessed and fortunate to have her in my life. Her guidance in faith and patience in life helped to make me understand what really matters in life.

  13. I am Thankful for my sister Renee. She is such a Godly woman, friend, sister. She will listen and love me for who I am, * She speaks with love and godliness. I am blessed to have her in my life, even though she is in CA and I in CO.

  14. I will always thank God for my husband of almost 19 years (6/17) because no matter what I am going through he prays for me and encourages me.

  15. My mother always! As I get older, I realize more and more how selfless she was and how thankful I am to God for blessing me with my amazing, kind mother!

  16. I am thankful for my first husband. He passed away from leukemia but thinking back to our few years together i learned to love to the fullest and not take my time here on earth for granted. No matter how bad things were he always had a smile on his face.

  17. My friend, Tina— she always has a kind word to share, an ear to lend and hilarious stories since we both have three boys but she’s a few years ahead of me. Love that girl!!

  18. It’s so hard to choose just *one* person I am thankful for, but if I have to ……my sister. She is such an amazing woman of God that has been through so much and has just grown even closer to Him. She is always there for me and I am thankful for a best friend in my sister. I love her so much and am glad that we have such a great relationship!

  19. My mother! She is the most selfless person I know and makes it look easy, and what a blessings she’s been to me as a mom myself.

  20. My husband, Jim. He defines love without measure. I’ll admit to being a beast sometimes yet he loves me all the same. He encourages me to be a better person. I’m not sure what I would do without him and never want to find out.

  21. I’m thankful for a certain pastor that pulled my husband and I through a difficult time. My husband’s a pastor and was treated horribly at a former church. We were both done with the ministry and we started attending this pastor’s church. To make a very long story short, the Lord used him greatly to minister to us, our feelings changed and we are now in a wonderful church! :)

  22. My husband. He is a kind and supportive father, husband and best friend. He works without complaining and even on a hard day will come home with a smile and kiss for his family. So thankful for him, always.
