Will You Pray? {And winners Announced}

First, the winners of the gorgeous Gracelaced giveaways from over the weekend are:

Call Her Blessed print: Teresa Bower

Clothed With Strength and Dignity print: Morgan {comment left at 8:38 am on May 2)

KEEP.IT.SHUTSecond, will you pray? My next manuscript is due May 22 and I still have several chapters to write and edit. This spring has been crazy busy. A relative in the final stages of cancer, a teen boy who has come to live with us and has some medical issues and needs surgery next week. Dinner. Laundry. Life!

I so appreciate your prayers for the next few weeks and your patience as I might not be able to blog a lot.

And, if you would like to play a part in this book (topic: what to say, how to say it and when to say nothing at all!) would you be willing to take a simple survey? I also ask for stories of when your mouth got you in trouble. Or when you should have said something but didn’t. Or on our words online.

Bless you.

Have a wonderful Monday!

  1. Lord, please guide Karen’s writing and give her the words. May they flow freely. Lord, work out every detail of Karen’s life in these next weeks leading up to this deadline. Give her grace to have time to do the needed work and to take care of her family and all her responsibilities. I am thankful, Father, that you are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine. Bless my sweet sister, Lord. Make this book everything You want it to be. My mouth gets me into trouble quite often, as You well know, Lord. I pray that you might give Karen this powerful message I, and people everywhere, need to hear.

    Please, Lord, I pray for this young man’s upcoming surgery. May it be successful with no complications. And I pray that you would bring healing into his body and give peace to his soul. And thank you for Karen and her family taking him in during this busy time. Bless them all, Lord.

    Karen, I will keep this post flagged so I remember to pray for you. Blessings to you!

  2. I’m praying Gods grace is sufficient to carry you thru these trying weeks. Remember if He brings you to it, He will bring you thru it.
    I truly feel for you I’m at my wits end also. We have had 2 of our daughters move in with us each with 3 children. Because they had nothing we fed and housed and clothed them. Now however we r literally broke and on the verge of loosing everything. I try to keep my faith knowing God will provide but it is getting increasingly difficult. I am now having anxiety and panic attacks. We can trade prayers. Well I’ll pray for you any way. Love you and your work. God Bless
