My favorite salad would have to be just fresh fruit: strawberries, blueberries, grapes, mandarin oranges, pineapple, bananas and apples (both dipped in the pineapple juice so they don’t turn brown too quick). YUM!! :-)
Love these salad ideas, Karen. My fave is ‘triple berry salad’ I found on Pinterest: Baby spinach with blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, avocado, basil, sliced almonds, crumbled goat cheese, strawberry balsamic dressing. YUM!

My favorite summer salad is simple. Mixed greens & some shaved carrots and I’m good to go. Ranch is my favorite dressing but I’m willing to try the different kinds out there.
My favorite summer salad, now that tomatoes are in season, is:
Chop several tomatoes into bite size pieces. Add 1/2 red onion (or more!), chopped. Pour Italian dressing over. This salad becomes better after a day or two, when the tomatoes and onions have a chance to marinate. The tomatoes and onions are also wonderful on hamburgers, fresh off the grill!
My favorite summer salad is apple orchard chicken. Just made it last week!
