  1. Love our mail man! Love this idea. I always take time to smile, wave, and make small talk with him. Can’t wait to do something nice for him, when I am feeling better.

  2. These are all such great inspiration! We get so distracted by our own busy lives – especially during the times when others should be at the forefront of our thoughts, like Christmastime. Loved doing this!

  3. So I totally do this every year! This year since I sell scentsy, I left them some smell good stuff for their vehicles. Plus a little dessert treat.

  4. Now that we have a mailman who is close to the house, I think this is a great idea. Thanks for sharing another way to spread kindness. I need to brainstorm on what to do now. :)

  5. Leaving something for all my package delivery drivers is an excellent way to show kindness in this hustle bustle time of year when they get more hate than love.

  6. This is a great idea. I also see our UPS man a lot this time of year too. I always try to be quick when he knocks or rings so I can call out a quick thank you before he zooms away!

  7. Our mail carrier is always there with a smile and a wave, no matter the weather. Good to appreciate those who brave all the elements!

  8. I wasn’t sure what to do for today. My mail is usually delivered to a different address. I receive other people’s mail. So I was trying to figure out what I could say in a note.
    God sees you and so do I fit perfect. Merry Christmas everyone!

  9. We’ve always had such a great relationship with our mail carrier. He retired last year and we really miss him. Now if only we’d get a consistent new person. :)

  10. I treat our mailman every year around this time! We even started treating a garage man too last year! So many professions that aren’t thanked enough!

  11. An oldie but a goodie- I like to leave a piece of bday cake in the box too when one of us has a bday. I also leave some for the garbage man.
