Love Bears All Things
Happy Valentine’s Day!
As my gift to you this Valentines Day, I hired my creative friend and former intern, Emma Heikkinen, to design two freebies for you. First, a watercolor printable PDF of the key verse in my Proverbs 31 Ministries devotion today:
โLove โฆ bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.โ
1 Corinthians 13:6a, 7b (CSB)
She also created a coordinating lock screen you can upload to your device in order to be reminded to keep showing up in your marriage, showing Christโs love as you do.
To get these simply enter your email in the form HERE and you will receive the downloads in your inbox.
Also, if you or a friend could use some encouragement, perspective, or creative ideas to better your marriage, check out Keep Showing Up: How to Stay Crazy in Love When Your Love Drives You Crazy.
It just a joy to read your words of LOVE i n the scriptures you given in your messagess
“True love is not a public fist bump. ”
May I ask to what event and/or persons you were referring?
I wasn’t referring to anyone or even a specific event. Just the action of a public fist bump, meaning love does not have to be publicly displayed and bragged about to be authentic. Hope that helps.
Thank you for the clarification.
I needed this today! Even though my husband and I have a very good relationship there is always room for improvement!!!
Thank you so much for your words of wisdom on this Valentineโs Day, which were refreshing, life-giving and true. Marriage is such a gift.
In 1967 I met the most precious man on a blind date. We wrote to each other for 11 months. He came home from the Navy in 1968, and I knew I would love this man forever. He didn’t want to get married until he could buy a home for us. I am still in that home, 50 years after our marriage. He worked second jobs to provide for us, we both wanted me to stay home with our children. When he was so ill and knew he would not live long, that sweet man apologized to me because he wouldn’t be here to take care of me. Even at the end of his life, his thoughts and concerns were for me. I will love him forever. He loved me enough to let me be me. One day I will meet him again on those Heavenly shores. I thank God for the love He put in my life by giving me my sweet, precious man.
Thatโs a sweet love story! ??
You are a very blessed woman! I know you must miss him greatly but you have been loved, greatly! Many people do not know what that feels like.
I am so blessed by that testimony.
Thank you so much for sharing your love story.
Just celebrated our 45 wedding anniversary in January. I love the scripture you chose.
Thank you, We will be celebrating our 49th anniversary this year, it takes a lot of work, but worth it all…..
