  2. Frosted sugar cookies! But when I was a child we had a neighbor who made these delicate cookies that she made with some kind of a thing that she dipped in batter and the deep fried and dusted with powdered sugar…… I wish I knew what they were! I would love those again!!

  3. I don’t really have a favorite Christmas cookie. I rather have a favorite Christmas treat. I love making chocolate covered pretzel rods with the kids for them to decorate for Christmas.

  4. It isnโ€™t Christmas with chocolate and peanut butter Buckeyes that my grandma starting making years ago and homemade chexmex mix!

  5. Dishpan Cookies which my brother only makes at Christmas. The recipe originally came out of a Rural Arkansas magazine and bakes dozens and dozens at Christmas to share. We all love them.

  6. Absolute favorite and go to is sugar cookies using my mom’s cookie cutters I used to make cookies with her. Also, using cookie press my mom used to make cookies. The smell of the kitchen aroma brings such huge joy to all who enter while we are baking with anticipation of giving them to friends, folks in resthomes, neighbors, fireman, police people and teachers. This is a tradition my mom started and I have enjoyed sharing with my children.

  7. Jam filled Lebkuchen Herzen (gingerbread filled with jam, covered in chocolate, in small heart forms). Need to have those every Christmas. :)
