Today our guest is my Proverbs 31 Ministries teammate Ashley Morgan Jackson. She is a wife, mom, writer, and fabulous friend. She is also one of the most social media savvy people I know. (Her giveaway is based on this fact!) And now, meet Ashley!

Day 11: Favorite Christmas Food Item

Yesterday we talked Christmas cookies. But let’s not stop there. So many yummy Christmas foods exist!

My favorite Christmas food is green olives by the name of Graber. They were delicious, unlike your traditional green olive, with a speckled skin. Growing up, we would have bowls of them every Christmas every year. My great great grandparents were original settlers in Ontario, California and knew the farmers of these olives and had purchased them since the beginning of the farm as far back as 1894.

Now it is your turn. What is your favorite Christmas food that is not a cookie? Leave your answer in the comments below and you could win my giveaway!

Day 11 Giveaway

Thanks Ashley! And now for her giveaway. Learning how to take your social media design to the next level doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive. Ashley is giving away a social media course. In it you will learn how to use one app, the OVER app, that can take your social media game and design ability to the next level, all on the convenience of your phone. In this course you will get seven video lessons on how to up your social media design game as well as a 42 page workbook to use alongside them!

  1. We love snack foods/appetizers at Christmas. Something that doesn’t take a lot of work to make. Sausage balls, dips and chips/veggies, cheese sticks, etc. And my mother-in-law’s punch!!

  2. Hmm… well, I always love mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, salads! And to drink at some point during the holidays, I have to have eggnog (the non-alcoholic version).

My sister’s in-laws always have like a side of spaghetti with their meal. Although it seemed unusual, I will eat spaghetti here or there; I’ll eat spaghetti anywhere!

  3. We have a big breakfast and always have sausage gravy and bisquits, hawaiin roll baked sandwiches and a fabulous french bread casserole. I love this whole meal and it gives me all the feels of Christmas!

  4. We are usually so tired especially Christmas morning with the opening of packages (some of those toys are hard to get to), adding batteries, building toys– we tend to enjoy pizza and finger foods, especially cheese, salami, and olive trays.

  5. Homemade cinnamon rolls fresh from the oven after reading the Christmas story from the Bible and opening gifts. Recently, my son by another mother–my oldest son’s best friend and his wife have joined us for cinnamon rolls too!

  6. Homemade pizza! This started as a traditional when my son started selling pizza kits for a band fundraiser, so to support him we bought these and the kids wanted to save them to make for Christmas. Since we live in the country, pizza is a treat we didn’t have very often.
