  1. To give: Special chocolates that we don’t have except Christmas. Fun jewelry and gift set makeup from Sephora or Ulta.

  2. Fuzzy socks, regular cuddleduds socks, chocolate, $5 bills, back scratcher, skin scrubby, shopping bag in a pouch, rubix cube or other sort of puzzle.

  3. I always put some of their favorite smaller items in their stockings. Makeup and jewelry for my daughter and pocket knives and stuff like that for my boys. They all will get their favorite candy.

  4. My parents always put candy in our stockings and little gifts, but once we were adults, my Dad would put a couple of scratch off lotto tickets in them!

  5. I love to put gift cards in stockings. Just small ones for lunch or a coffee, but something special just for the recipient.

  6. Stocking stuffers are so hard! I have 4 kids so even when you get little things it all adds up to quite a bit. I try to hit the dollar store and give them candy

  7. Ha! Thinking about this question brought up a blast from the past memory, of the fun with Silly Putty, which was apparently included most years in our stockings, as kids.

  8. To me stocking stuffers are basic things. Growing up we got some candy and a candy cane and an orange and apple to eat and trinkets that were not easy to wrap such as nail polish or body spray. One year, when I was 13, I got tickets to my first concert.

  9. I’m just going to share a memory of my late Grandma always making sure all her grandkids and kids had underwear in their stocking. Because of Grandma, years ago us grandkids bought the largest bra that we could find and it became a gag gift among us for graduation, wedding showers, baby showers, etc!

  10. Chocolate! Always chocolate. My family doesn’t really put stuff in my stocking, so good chocolate is always a winner.

I like putting favorite treat snacks, a special bottled drink, a CD or movie, etc. in theirs.

  11. With my kiddos they always get an ornament, a Christmas book, candy of course, and then age appropriate lil goodies. My pre-teen is getting lots of lip gloss and chapsticks.
