A “heart drop” is when a person gives you a pe A “heart drop” is when a person gives you a peak into their heart. Maybe you’re having a conversation with a girlfriend and she makes a casual remark about a dessert she loved as a kid and that brings back memories whenever she catches a whiff of it. It is something that makes that person’s heart light up. ⁠

We have the opportunity to listen for these kinds of things when we are with the people we love. By hearing their heart drop and then acting on it, we communicate love. We show them they are heard and cared for. ⁠
