Eighteen Years…
First, let me say a hearty congratulations to Erica Miller. You are the winner of a copy of Curt and Marybeth Whalen’s book Learning to Live Financially Free. Email me at [email protected] to give me your mailing address.
Eighteen years ago, I was in pain. The worse pain I’d ever felt in my life. After 22 hours and an emergency c-section, the pain was over and the joy began.
I held in my arms a black-haired, blue-eyed bawling baby that today is an auburn-haired, green eyed, singing and acting young woman.
Trust me ladies…..the time does fly. I used to doubt that statement ,often spoken by little old ladies with silver-blue hair in the grocery store, but it is positively true. It seems only yesterday that Todd held Mackenzie in his arms for the first time. Here is the latest picture of the two of them right before the homeschool academy prom.
Eighteen years have come and gone. This song says it best.
Hug your babies tight. They grow up while you aren’t looking.
Sweet Birthday Blessings,
Happy Birthday to your “baby” I agree that they grow up SO fast. Seems like it just flies by.
So ture! My oldest turned 17 last month. Where did the time go?
