Everday.Confetti.coverGot a calendar packed with reasons to celebrate but a brain that lacks ideas? Special people you want to love on but limited time to do it?

Relax. Weโ€™ve got you covered.

Announcing my new bookย Everyday Confetti:ย Your Year-round Guide for Celebrating Holidays and Special Occasions. I wrote this with my friend and Proverbs 31 ministry partner Glynnis Whitwer. We are so thrilled to tell you what this project is all about.confetti1

Loved ones.

That is what it is all about!

Pampering them. Loving them. Feeding them. Celebrating them. And most importantly making fond memories with them that youโ€™ll both cherish for a long time to come.

It includes holiday ideas, holy day ideas and ideas for celebrating seemingly ordinary days and milestones in the lives of those you love. There are tons of recipes, party ideas, activities for families and even for outreach.

{For example–today is Veterans Day. We give a half-dozen ideas for how to celebrate and honor veterans and two All-Amercian recipes, including one that has been served in the US Senate for decades!}

We also have a website for this book where you can find even MORE free ideas. Visit www.everydayconfetti.org to take a peek. Here’s what actress and New York Times best-selling author Candace Cameron Bure says about this book:

โ€œAs much as I want to be an imaginative and spontaneous person, Iโ€™m much better at tackling a task than creatively coming up with ideas myself. Everyday Confetti is going to make me look like Superwomanโ€”if there ever were such a thing!โ€

Our book releases January 21st but we are offering a special free bonus to anyone who pre-orders the book before then from Proverbs 31 Ministries. If you order it from now until December 15 from Proverbs 31 Ministries and forward a copy of your receipt to [email protected] you will be sent a PDF called โ€œTips for a Simple, Sacred Christmas.โ€

  1. I’m really loving the theme/design of your blog.
Do you ever run into any browser compatibility issues?
A handful of my blog audience have complained about
my website not working correctly in Explorer but looks great in Firefox.
Do you have any solutions to help fix this problem?

  2. Thanks for some other wonderful article. Where else could anyone get that kind of information in such an ideal approach of writing?
I’ve a presentation next week, and I’m on the search for such information.

  3. Karen, thought I had already commented but chances are my phone rang before I could hit post…so I am trying again. Going to order the book for sure. Looking forward to sharing it with my daughter as she begins to develop her own holiday traditions with my two grandsons.

  4. Sounds like such a great book. I had to share with all my friends in twitter. I can’t wait to purchase mine!

  5. My kids too are older 21,18 and 14…but I am the biggest KID of all :) We would love to use this book to bless our neighbors and church families as well as our community “helpers” – thanks for the great post and giveaway!!

  6. Just pinned the description of your Confetti book. What a great idea for a book, especially for un-imaginative people like me!

  7. oh, what a neat surprise! this book sounds like a lot of useful fun! (for ppl who do not have time to ponder about it all :) )….I posted your ‘promo sample’ on fb. :)

  8. I recently bought your book Homespun Memories for the Heartโ€ฆ.is this book similar to that? I have a 13, 14, and 15 year old and most of the ideas in the book were for little kids. I am looking for a book that has ideas for some older kids.

    1. I wrote the first book (with my two co-authors) almost ten years ago so most ideas were for moms of younger kids. This one isn’t. It is not even specifically for moms but for women in general. Tons of ideas for all ages and stages :-)

  9. Hi, I own your book “Homespun Memories from the Heart” which is a great book with tons of ideas. This new book sounds like it has a similar theme and I’m wondering if it will be just like it or completely new ideas.

    1. Great question! That book just went out of print and this one is all new recipes and ideas with the exception of a few Christmas ideas that are classic to our family :-)

      1. I just read this reply after I wrote mineโ€ฆโ€ฆare these ideas still geared towards little kids? I just bought your homespun memories for the heart book last week:( But unfortunately don’t see me using it will need to gift it to someone with little kids.
