  1. To have a listening ear…sometimes us moms jump to conclusions too quickly instead of taking the time to listen to what your child is saying.

  2. To teach her children or to show her children love and respect for their father. By the way she lives and interacts and talks about him.

  3. one of the best things that you can do as a mom, is seek forgiveness., let them know you aren’t perfect and that you make mistakes also, but to see you humble and very tolerant of being forgiving…,,

  4. Mom’s need to have patience, and remember to spend quality time with her children. Taking time to listen and really be there. It isn’t easy but well worth it.

  5. I became a mother figure at the age of 13. I reflect on my mother’s decision to leave all the time. How could she make the decision to leave her children/family. I took care of my 5 yr old brother, and 7 yr old sister after schooI and during the summer month. I cooked the meals, cleaned the house, and helped in the fields. It prepared me, helped to me to know what Kind of mom I wanted to be. I wanted to be a loving person, who provides support for the family as a whole. Mom provides learning experiences, and always has time to listen and reflect. Mom gives up her life to take care for others, providing support, love, and comfort to each member of the family. As my home became empty (children left for college) and it is time to take care of mom it is hard to how where to start. A mother’s life is always been about others. I know today’s mother may have a different view. But as I reflect on what I needed from my mom, the bond between a mother and daughter. I’m very thanks I have that bond with my two sons.

  6. Unconditional love is unknown until you become a mother. I have a 20 & 18 year old and I pray for them everyday to make the right decisions and patience for me to help them.

  7. One special trait… would be to a good listener…. Women are great communicators… but when we stop to listen… we understand so much more than what is spoken….

  8. To be able to say I messed up and admit when I am in the wrong. I believe that teaches them to be able to be open when they mess up. And lots of prayer! :)

  9. This is a tough one, but I think kids need love from their mommas because from love you get everything else.

  10. To be fun! And never give up, always remember your not doing it on your own God gave them to us for a reason and He will help us raise them for Him!

  11. I think self-love is important and often neglected. Jesus thought it was important though. He told us to love God, love ourselves, and then we can love others.

  12. Having three kids and two with Autism. I had to think a bit. I think there are many things. But Love, patience and grace would be what I would say :)
