Also, there are 7 teaching sessions available in a few forms–physical dvds, and also downloadable video or audio files available here. If you plan to facilitate a group, there is also a leader kit that includes the teaching dvds and one study guide. While the book was designed to be used with the video teachings, you may easily use the book alone as a personal study on Philippians. You would just skip over one page per session where the group discussion questions for the videos are listed.

I’d love the first giveaway because I’ve always felt a pull to study the book of Philippians.
I would love to win Giveaway # 1 or #2. I have recently began my journey with God. I participated in Lent this year, I choose your Zip it, 40-day challenge. I will not say it was easy for me but it has given me the opportunity to grow with my walk with God. I would like to win giveaway #1 because I would use the book as a personal study. The topic that piqued my interest was in regards to making my time with God a priority. As a self-employed woman, I tend to work inconsistent hours and my time with God gets put on the back burner, and I want to make my devotions a priority over my work schedule. How lovely of you to do a giveaway. I would love to enter for #2 or 3. My friend just had her baby so we are going to have a home Bible study session with friends. We wanted to do this study because the topic is a big focus for all of us. Since Lent we have all been focusing on the important things in life and what really should be important. What matters most is such a personal topic as we start families and grow in our marriages and our faith.
I would love to win any of these giveaways. This winter has been tough and I’ve been in a “pit” that I can’t seem to get out of. Having a teenage daughter whose dealing with friend drama and my husband traveling quite a bit for work have been a struggle lately. I know that I need to spend more time with Jesus and make Him my priority. This study sounds perfect. I do a small group study with some women and I truly believe that they would enjoy this also. We are finishing up our current study in May and will be starting a new one this summer. This sounds perfect!

I can honestly say I am more aware of my words and am consciously evaluating them before I blurt them out. I related to you, “bossy” ha. I am interested in all prizes. My friends and I went to a church that fell apart. Our new church does not have ladies Bible Study groups so we are doing our own. Philippians sounds like s great teaching subject for our next study.

Karen, I feel as if you are my neighbor, and I know you personally because of your other studies, in which you are authentic and real as you share the Word of God. I have some of your quotes stuck in my brain forever, which is good! :-) I would love to win the 2nd or 3rd Giveaway, and since I have purchased the leader kit already, if I were to win, I would like to send it to my missionary friend Bonnie in Nicaragua. She would LOVE the encouragement and could share this study with some local ladies in Managua, Nicaragua. Also, this study is one that is timely for me…I am a survivor of breast cancer, who is always in need of learning contentment in my circumstances, joy in trials, etc. I plan to lead this study in my living room with some dearly loved women. Of course I would love to win any of the 3, but more specifically option 2. As I type I am packing for Women’s Retreat and our topic is Joy and our speaker is using Philippians. It would be so wonderful to use this study this summer to piggy back off of retreat. I would also use it in my program with teen mom’s. We will also be doing a summer study with them, and if anyone has know hardship it is these sweet girls. I love your love for the Lord and people Karen, and you are a mentor to me in my walk with the Lord through your books. “Keep It Shut” can I get an Amen…. Lord help me keep my mouth closed is a daily prayer.
I will be selfish for a minute and say all 3 but especially the second one. At our small mission church most of the ladies, yes, including me, the imperfect pastor’s wife, struggle with life’s burdens and those going through them and how to handle it all without feeling helpless in easing burdens.
