Crock Pot Hawaiian Chicken

Serve over rice and sprinkle with sliced almonds for an easy but delicious meal!

Ingredients:

3 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breast halves

1/8 cup cornstarch

¼ cup brown sugar

1/8 cup soy sauce

1/8 cup fresh lemon juice

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon ground ginger

¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper

16-ounce can pineapple slices, drained

15-ounce can mandarin oranges, drained

One green pepper, chunked into ½ inch size pieces

Rice and sliced almonds for serving

Directions:

Place chicken in the Crock Pot. Mixed together the cornstarch, brown sugar, soy sauce, lemon juice, and all spices. Then, fold in the drained fruit. Pour the mixture over the chicken and cover and cook on high for three hours. Add green pepper and continue to cook on high for two more hours. To serve, spoon over cooked rice and top with sliced almonds.
