I’m a gift giver. It’s one of my “Love Languages.” And I love putting together something fun and creative! How about something fun like this to say “Thanks” to a teacher or maybe something for your neighbor?!
I found all items at Target and obviously my theme color was YELLOW!
A $3.00 bucket from the One Spot.
I just walked around looking for a variety of things with my theme color of sunshine.
I printed out “You are my Sunshine” and attached it to a card and then added it to my basket.
For my Mom’s birthday I went with the ORANGE theme.
And I made cute little tags that started out “Orange you glad…”
Her birthday is close to summer and every year I have trouble coming up with something good…
Until this year!
It was fun to walk around browsing…
to find different things I thought my mom would like, all in ORANGE!

Chessa Moore is the wife of Ben and the mother to teens and near-teens: Sidney, Tyler and Katelyn. She’s the kind of girl who can’t sit still and always has to be creating something. If she sees something she likes, she sets out to determine a way to create it herself! Occasionally, this means she gets her handy-husband and creative-kiddo’s involved in the project(voluntarily or otherwise)!
You can find her documenting these adventures on her blog, Antsi-Pants. Chessa loves to spend her summers in Michigan, on the beaches of Lake Michigan, enjoying the mild winters in North Carolina, and checking out God’s creative handiwork, every place in between. Check out Chessa’s Etsy shop where you can pick up some of her crafted treasures.
I love this!! Do you have a link where we can print out the super cute Sunshine & Orange tags?
What a super cute idea – I love gifts like this and what a great excuse to go shopping :)
I know! This is an awesome idea. One of my favorite’s that the clever and creative Chessa has done.
